Your Campus, Your Story
The Griffith Journal is Griffith University’s online student publication, dedicated to fostering a thriving student community through telling the stories that matter to Griffith students. You don’t need to study communication in order to write, create and be heard with the Griffith Journal. If you have something to explore, investigate, or an opinion to share, you belong at the Griffith Journal.
We cover much more than student news: encouraging contribution across a wide spectrum.
- Campus affairs – from events, issues, and student initiatives, we cover the stories that shape everyday university life.
- Campus sport – we encourage a strong student sporting culture: covering fixtures, teams and student sporting success.
- Satire – student-driven takes exploring real-world themes.
- Academic writing – research-based explainers, pieces and critical essays
- Interest pieces – or just anything a student is curious about.
If you are interested in, or wish to write about any of the above, you’re welcome at the Griffith Journal. While we are based at the Nathan Campus, we encourage any and all Griffith students to join. After all, it is Your Campus, Your Story!
The Griffith Journal runs many events, from networking nights to writing help. A list of our upcoming events can be found below. To find out more, feel free to contact us via our ‘Contact Page.’
