About Me

Hello everyone! My name is Sophia and I’m the Co-founder, Vice President, Editor In Chief, and the Communication Liaison of the Griffith Journal. I’m basically the eyes and ears of this club! I’m Welsh-Thai, 20-years-old, and I’m in my second year of a Communications and Journalism Bachelor degree! I believe that it’s important to be a global citizen and I consider myself one because of my experiences and extensive background from living in Saudi Arabia, England, Wales, Thailand, and now Australia.

Personal Interests

I am a sucker for all things creative including graphic design (as you can see from everyone’s profile picture), script-writing, content creating, singing, and communicating. I have a particular interest in radio as my biggest life goal is to become a radio host of my own radio show!

Interests In The Club

As a co-founder I helped developed the club with my concepts and ideas, website building (yep, I built this website), content creation, networking, and newswriting. I plan on writing articles from ai generative work and how it impacts university students to tips on how to travel on a budget in a “dummy” but informational way that incorporates humour and light heartedness.
