About The President Of The Griffith Journal

I am Emma Standen, and I am the president of the Griffith Journal, a club that publishes a monthly online newspaper written by students, for students. I decided to start the paper because I want to create a space for students to explore news story writing, to inform students on current affairs both in the university and across the world. My love for newspapers grew from me stealing the Cairns Post from my dad to read the Garfield comics to now, where my intense love for journalism led me into a Bachelor of GIR and Journalism. I hope you as the reader enjoy this publication as much as we enjoyed publishing it.
